A few things to know upfront.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By income protection cover, we mean a collective provision for disability. This can be disability insurance with an insurer, or participation in a crowdsurance or mutual support circle (like a Broodfonds). Zelfverzekerd is intended for self-employed professionals in the cultural and creative sector who have income protection cover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your application is approved, you&#8217;ll receive 50% of your (temporary) monthly costs for up to 12 months, with a maximum of \u20ac75 per month. You claim your costs afterwards. Twelve months after your first claim, you&#8217;ll receive the contribution again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Did you take out cover on or after 1 July 2025? Then on top of our contribution, you&#8217;ll receive a one-off stimulansbonus (a bonus to encourage you to get covered) of \u20ac200.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This scheme is temporary and has a limited budget. There is no telephone helpdesk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 \u2014 Who is Zelfverzekerd for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1a \u2014 Zelfverzekerd is for self-employed professionals in the cultural and creative sector who have disability insurance, a mutual support circle (like a Broodfonds) or crowdsurance. Whether you&#8217;re part of the target group is determined by the SBI code you&#8217;re registered with at the Chamber of Commerce. Check the <a href=\"https:\/\/zelfverzekerd.oogvoorimpuls.nl\/sbi-codes\/\">SBI target group list<\/a> to see if your code is included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1b \u2014 You can use the scheme once. Multiple applications are not possible, unless we reject your application and ask you to submit a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1c \u2014 Did you take out cover on or after 1 July 2025? It is not possible to submit an application through an intermediary or authorised representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2b \u2014 Within 14 days you&#8217;ll receive an email letting you know whether your application has been approved or rejected. If your application is approved, that email will also include instructions on how to claim your contribution. If you&#8217;re also receiving the stimulansbonus, you&#8217;ll receive a separate email about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3 \u2014 How does claiming work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3a \u2014 Twelve months after your application is approved, you can claim your contribution. You have 12 weeks to do this. After that, the option to claim expires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3b \u2014 The amount of your contribution is fixed at the time your application is approved. Any increase or decrease in the cost of your cover has no effect on this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3c \u2014 After claiming, a spot check may take place. In a spot check, we ask people to send proof of the premiums paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4 \u2014 Other conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4a \u2014 Applicants may be asked to participate in research on employment conditions in the sector or within their own professional practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4b \u2014 An application may be rejected if, in the opinion of Platform ACCT, it does not align with the spirit of the scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4c \u2014 Platform ACCT reserves the right to modify or terminate the scheme at any time.
